lubluelu Robot Vacuum

The SG60 is here to pick up the likes of dirt, dust, and hair from your carpets and hard floors, including tiles. With a brushless motor, operation is smooth, but while it is supposed to be quiet, the SG60 is actually louder than average.

Thanks to its ultra-thin body with a tempered glass panel, the SG60 can try to go under furniture to clean there if needed, and with a large dustbin, the need for you emptying it becomes less frequent. Snap on the color-coded side brushes, and let your journey with the SG60 begin!

Cleaning profile

The wider V-shaped roller brush of the SG60 strives for a wider cleaning path while also reducing hair tangling and allegedly improving cleaning efficiency by 80%. The three-layer filtration system is supposed to capture 95% of dust particles as little as 0.3 microns.

Whenever a carpet is encountered, the SG60 increases suction on its own within seconds. Furthermore, there are anti-collision and anti-dropping sensors to avoid bumping into obstacles and falling off heights.

0.7″ thresholds at 15 degree slopes can be climbed, but if you do not want the SG60 to go somewhere, simply place a boundary strip. In any case, it is best that you declutter your floors to avoid the SG60 trying to eat up your cables and so on.

On one battery charge, the SG60 can cover up to 1,200-1,400 square feet of space before automatically redocking to recharge at around 15% battery life or when a cleaning session is finished. However, redocking does not always happen successfully. Your help may be needed.

Cleaning modes

  • Auto: inclusive cleaning session
  • Spot: circular cleaning of a specific area
  • Edge: for edges, walls, and corners
  • Zigzag: Z-shaped pattern movement
  • Manual: drive the bot yourself!

Note that auto mode may still require “babysitting” from your end.

Smart control

You can use the Smart Life app or remote to switch between the aforementioned modes. Admittedly, it would have been nicer if the app was developed specifically for the SG60. For example, it does not seem that you can divide the app’s map into individual rooms. As for the remote, it can be used up to seven meters away.

Here are the remote button’s functions verbatim and in order:

  • Auto clean
  • Recharge
  • Direction control
  • Start/pause
  • Designated clean
  • Edge clean
  • Water volume
  • Suction force

You can also issue commands with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant by using voice control. The SG60 vocally informs you of its status as well.

Premium mop feature

You can purchase a separate water tank with a mop to turn your SG60 into a robot mop.

Conclusion

With a little bit of supervision from your end, the SG60 can be a decent purchase as a robot vacuum.

  • Picks up a lot
  • Voice notifications
  • Premium mop addon
  • Needs decluttering
  • Needs supervision
  • Redocking consistency
  • Higher volume
  • Limited app
