Lefant M201 Robot Vacuum

This robot vacuum is packed with a big dustbin, anti-collision sensors, different cleaning modes, object mapping, and self charging. It works best with carpets and hardwood floors where it can take care of human and pet hair tangle-free.

The brushless motor ensures strong suction and lower power consumption.

The M201 actually advertises itself as suitable for all types of floors, but for obvious reasons, we could not test it on all types of floors. One reason is we simply do not have all types of floors.

That said, the M201 takes about five minutes to set up.

Using the Lefant app or voice control, set your own cleaning schedule for the M201 to traverse your living space with its compact and narrow body. Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa are compatible as well.

Using the official app, you can also select the cleaning mode and check the status.

One thing worth mentioning, however, is that the M210 does not keep track well of obstacles like a flower vase, which it may knock over repeatedly until you move the vase elsewhere.

FreeMove Technology 2.0

The M210 utilizes 6D built-in 360 degree anti-collision infrared sensors to be aware of its surroundings, which includes avoiding bumping into things as well as falling off heights, but as mentioned earlier, this technology is not flawless.

Traps allergens

The double-HEPA filtration system blocks particles and prevents secondary pollution, and the high-performance filter captures up to 99% of dust, dander, and pet allergens.

Durable batteries

The M201 uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries, cleaning for up to 100 minutes or across approximately 1,100 square feet. It roughly consumes half of its battery per cycle.

When running out of battery, the M210 will return to its charging base automatically, but it may take a long time to do so and even get lost until you interfere.

Three cleaning modes

  • Edge: to clean edges and corners
  • Spot: to clean specific areas
  • Automatic: to clean the entire floor with one press

Pros & Cons

  • Quick setup
  • Battery-conscious
  • Fairly quiet
  • Knocks things over
  • Gets lost
  • Can be slow
  • Not self-sufficient

Conclusion

The M201 can be a good supplement to your regular vacuum for busy or lazy days.
