Famree MT-200
This is a state-of-the-art robot vacuum that packs standard features such as docking itself to recharge whenever the battery is low. It works on both hardwood and carpets. Furthermore, it cleans in snake-like movements, but admittedly, its random path makes us worry it did not cover every spot…
What about its design?
It has rubber wheels that help it climb thresholds, such as when transitioning from hardwood to medium-pile carpets. Note that it does not have a roller-brush design, and that is to avoid getting clogged with pet hair. Regardless, make sure from time to time that the brush has not fallen off as this may happen.
Moving onward, the MT-200 has been given a flat front to reach places other robot vacuums would not. Because of its low profile, the bot goes under furniture, but it may get stuck under a piece of furniture and turn off, so check on it from time to time. It may also push obstacles around.
How aware is it?
The MT-200 automatically identifies obstacles and heights to avoid bumping into the former and falling off the latter. It does all of that while trying to be quiet so you can enjoy your day as it cleans your home.
Add to that a double-filter system that attempts to capture dirt and dust while cleaning. The high-efficiency filter is supposed to absorb 99% of dirt, dust, and also debris. The dustbin is quite large, which is suitable for large homes.
Does it have different modes?
There are different modes that come with this robot vacuum, which include fixed-point mode and edge mode, the latter of which is for those tough walls and corners. There are also three suction levels:
- Max
- Standard
- Low
If you press the turbo button, you activate max mode. Low mode lowers the noise.
The largest debris the MT-200 seems capable of is rice. Otherwise, it may struggle with corn flakes etc.
Smart control
Control this robot vacuum through the app, remote, or voice commands. The remote is especially good for manually steering the MT-200. If it ever gets lost, locate the MT-200 using the find feature.
