Perhaps the star feature of the i4+ is the fact that its Clean Base can empty itself for up to two months. The bot employs a three-stage cleaning system, and you can control it through the iRobot HOME app as well as a voice assistant, such as Alexa and Assistant.

How does it move?

As for the way it moves, the i4+ navigates and maps your home in neat rows using floor-tracking sensors to vacuum both hardwood and carpets. Thanks to Reactive Sensor Technology, the i4+ knows where to go and where not to go, so it makes it less prone to getting stuck. Furthermore, there are Dirt Detect sensors to focus on cleaning where cleaning is needed the most, such as the dirtiest areas of a home.

The i4+ even suggests an extra cleaning if your area’s pollen count is high or if it is pet-shedding season!

Now, whenever the i4+ is about to run out of battery, it redocks itself to recharge.

Who is the i4+ for?

This bad boy is ideal for homes that have pets. It has dual multi-surface rubber brushes that are not supposed to tangle with pet hair. They adjust and flex to remain in contact with hard floors and carpets. There is also a high-efficiency filter that traps 99% of dog and cat dander allergens.
