Shark RV2310

Shark RV2310AE Matrix

The Shark RV2310AE Matrix self-emptying robot vacuum is here to make your home cleaner. This robot vacuum comes with a self-emptying base, side brush, and washable pre-motor filter. For 45 days, the RV2310AE can empty dirt into its base on its own after which your involvement is finally needed. The base is bagless, so you need not buy any additional bags.

How it cleans

Using Matrix Clean, the RV2310AE cleans in a precision grid by making multiple passes over dirty areas for a deep cleaning whether the surface is hard or a carpet.

There is a self-cleaning brush roll that picks up from hair to debris, and it is designed not to tangle. Though, pet hair is not the RV2310AE’s forte. On the bright side, dust and dander can be taken care of as well.

How it moves

The RV2310AE has LiDAR that is 360° to map your home so that the robot vacuum efficiently navigates it without bumping into things, even if it is dark, but in reality, the RV2310AE contacts obstacles on its way in a bump & go style. Impressively, however, it is not prone to getting stuck. When running low on battery, the RV2310AE redocks to recharge and then resumes from where it left off.

Smart control

Thanks to the SharkClean app, you can choose specific rooms and spots to clean. You can also preset cleaning schedules and even set no-go zones. Furthermore, voice control is possible.

This could have truly been a five star robot vacuum if it actually avoided obstacles and dealt with pet hair well.
