Meet the Roomba i6+, a robot vacuum from the well-known iRobot that has a self-emptying dustbin, although it can be loud. Well, the emptying process should not take more than seconds…
The dustbin can store debris and dirt for up to two months. As for the vacuum itself, it operates on powerlifting suction and dual multi-surface rubber brushes to pull from debris and dirt to pet hair. The rubber brushes do not get tangled with pet hair. There is also an edge-sweeping brush.
The i6+ runs on iAdapt 3.0 navigation with visual localization. Furthermore, there is vSLAM, and SLAM standards for simultaneous localization and mapping. So, your home is mapped to be cleaned in neat and efficient rows. You can set no-go zones if you like as well.
Our favorite feature is cleaning by zone, such as “home gym” or “walk-in closet”.
Smart control
The iRobot Home app includes personalized scheduling suggestions and seasonal recommendations. During allergy season, an extra cleaning would be suggested to you. The high-efficiency filter catches 99% of cat and dog allergens. AllergenLock bags use four layers of allergen-blocking material.
You can also use Alexa or Assistant to instruct the i6+ something along the lines of:
“Roomba, clean my kitchen.”

It may take a while to connect wifi to this bot, so patience may be needed.
