DEEBOT OZMO 920

This robot vacuum-mop claims an advanced pressure-retention system, which optimizes energy efficiency and guarantees high vacuuming pressure, all the while sound is kept to a minimum.

The 920 features the 2.0 floating brush coupled with the latest suspension design at the time, being able to sweep up to 4 mm deep cracks. Furthermore, there is Smart Navi laser mapping and navigation. You can choose where the 920 cleans through the maps.

Using the ECOVACS Home app, you can instruct the 920 where not to clean. Using the app again, you can draw your own area on the map if you want the 920 to only clean there.

As for mopping, this bot mops and vacuums in one go. There is an electronic water pump and reservoir. Once again, with the app, you can switch the water amount.

App features

To wrap up the easy-to-set-up app’s features, you can also:

  • Take control of the bot.
  • Schedule a cleaning.
  • Monitor the status.

With OTA (over the air) technology, the app can be updated to optimize functions.

You can also use Amazon Echo or Google Home.

Something very cool about the 920 is that it gives you voice reports about what is happening!

Rapid fire of cool features

The 920 lets you take control of how it cleans. You can choose between tangle-free intake for hair-pickup purposes or the V-shaped main brush for deep cleaning. Also:

  • The high-efficiency filter reduces airborne triggers.
  • The dustbin is easy to empty as it can be accessible from the top.

Whenever about to run out of battery, the 920 redocks to recharge and then resume cleaning. Do not worry about it falling off stairs as it has anti-drop technology. Additionally, there is anti-collision technology that is coupled with soft bumpers.

What we dislike

The thickness of the 920 is supposed to allow it under furniture, but that does not happen all the time. We wish the 920 sized up furniture better. Even the 2 cm threshold-crossing feature seems like false advertisement.

Furthermore, the side brushes may work at first, and they did not necessarily break on us, but we sense that they may not have the best longevity.

On a closing note, the mop struggles with tougher stains.

Conclusion

The OZMO 920 navigates homes smartly, has an accessible dustbin, and its app is easy to set up.

  • Smart navigation
  • Dustbin accessibility
  • Easy app setup
  • Gets stuck
  • Threshold struggles
  • Flimsy side brushes
  • Mediocre mop
