Lefant U180 Robot Vacuum

This hybrid is good for pet hair, dust, and debris. The floating roller-brush cover makes the U180 stick to the floor to clean any gap or groove. Using the Lefant app, you can adjust the water output when mopping. This is what the app can also show:

  • Real-time map
  • Cleaning mode
  • Cleaning time
  • Remaining power

You can use voice control as well. Just make sure your wifi is 2.4 GHz for smooth compatibility.

Movement and docking

This robot can cross 0.6 inch thresholds, such as when transitioning from a floor to a carpet. It is quite good on uneven surfaces. Furthermore, it has 6D anti-collision sensors that are infrared to avoid bumping into things or getting stuck. Additionally, it has anti-drop functionality to avoid falling off heights.

Now, when the battery is about to run out, the U180 goes back to the base on its own to recharge. It can cover roughly 1,615 square feet in one go!

Four cleaning modes

  1. Auto: the default mode
  2. Zigzag: to move in a zigzag fashion
  3. Spot: to clean a specific area
  4. Edge: to clean along walls and corners

Unfortunately, it does not seem that the U180 avoids mopping carpets and rugs on its own. So, you will likely have to block them off.

Another caveat worth mentioning is that some units seem to come in with defects, so you may have to order a replacement if you feel that your unit is not connecting to wifi or not mopping correctly etc.

The Lefant U180 is a good vacuum with a mop feature that is not necessarily the best on the market.

  • Decent vacuum
  • Transitions well
  • Spatially unaware
  • Potentially defective
