Verefa V60 Pro Robot Vacuum

Do you have any hard floors, tiles, or medium-pile carpets that need cleaning without your presence? The V60 Pro was designed for such needs. It comes with Smart Navigation 2.0 that includes Gyrosense and optical path sensors to help it move in a zigzag fashion, cleaning in tidy rows. However, where the V60 Pro truly shines is in its self-emptying.

Self-emptying feature

Robot vacuums usually require that you empty them yourself after cleaning. However, the V60 Pro comes with a self-emptying base, so for a month, the V60 Pro will empty itself until your involvement is required.

There is a short dust-collection channel and strong suction power to guarantee that allegedly 99.5% of dust, hair, fur, and so on are transported to the dust bag. Just be sure to remove the protective film to ensure the smooth operation of the self-emptying feature as well as the couple pieces of foam that come with the packaged robot.

Note that there is a chance the V60 Pro’s dust bag is proprietary and so you may only be able to buy more bags from Verefa.

Cleaning style

The V60 Pro has four adjustable suction levels. Spot cleaning is possible as well. It is a mode in which the V60 Pro performs intensified cleaning of a certain area. Spiral-motion cleaning is also available, and you can even drive the V60 Pro yourself.

The V60 Pro has a self-adjusting brush roll, so the brush roll will adjust its own height to makes sure it adequately reaches the floor it is on. However, you should stay vigilant to check that the brush is not getting stuck.

When a carpet is detected, the V60 Pro automatically boosts its suction. Thresholds 0.8″ high can be crossed, and there are anti-collision/dropping sensors to ensure the V60’s safety as well as your home staying in one piece. Though, the V60 Pro may push some objects around. Thankfully, you can use a boundary strip as a no-go zone.

When the V60 Pro operates at 60 decibels of loudness, it is akin to hearing a conversation. In any case, you can set a do-not-disturb mode.

Smart control

You may be glad to know that you can use the Verefa Life app with the V60 Pro in order to:

  • Appoint a cleaning.
  • Issue cleaning commands.
  • See cleaning in real time on a map.
  • Access customizable options.
  • Set the self-emptying frequency.
  • Check any dust-bag alerts.

Admittedly, the app is not as sophisticated as other state-of-the-art robot apps. Fortunately, you can also use Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant for voice control, the remote control, or simply press on the V60 Pro.

Here is an example of what you can tell Alexa: “Alexa, turn on the robot.” You can also say, “Alexa, turn off the robot.” Here are two more quick lines: “return to base” and “empty vacuum”.

By the way, if there is an issue with the V60 Pro, it beeps to notify you.

Conclusion

Although not flawless, the V60 Pro brings some uniqueness to the table and could be what you seek.

  • Compact self-emptying base
  • Cleans medium-pile carpets
  • Sleek look
  • Inconvenient dust bag
  • Brush may tangle
  • Limited app
