Vactidy Nimble T7 Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Vactidy Nimble T7 robot vacuum-mop combo is here to clean your low-pile carpets and floors, including hardwood. When carpets are found, suction is automatically boosted. The Nimble T7 can move in a zigzag motion.
Mopping details
The mop’s wetness can be adjusted according to four water flow levels. In reality, however, the T7’s mopping ability may be described as simply for shining dusty floors, so maybe it is not a good idea to expect it to replace human mopping.
Different cleaning modes
- Auto cleaning
- Spot cleaning
- Edge cleaning
- Room cleaning
1,300 square feet should be possible for the T7 to clean in one go. Spot (or spiral) cleaning should only take a couple of minutes. Edge cleaning takes 20 minutes, and room cleaning takes about 30.
When the battery is less than 15% or a cleaning session is finished, the T7 can redock to recharge. That said, it would have been more desirable for the T7’s battery life to be longer.
Here are the noise levels per mode:
- Quiet: less than 60 dB
- Standard: less than 63 dB
- Max: less than 68 dB
This bot vac is actually quieter than average.
How it cleans
The T7 has a roller brush and some side brushes, which Vactidy seems to think is a more effective combination than a brushless suction port.
How it moves
Thanks to its shorter height, the T7 can go under furniture if needed. Also, it has 360 degree wheels for maximal mobility. With three ground-detection sensors and a couple of anti-collision sensors, the T7 tries to avoid bumping into things.
Smart control
If you are not a fan of voice control, you can also control the T7 by way of the Vactidy app. Namely, you can:
- Schedule a cleaning session.
- Select a starting time.
- Pick a cleaning mode.
The remote can allow you to drive the T7, such as if it is stuck. Note that your T7 likely needs wifi to get itself unstuck, which should not be a problem because, if you have a robot vacuum, you likely have wifi as well!
Conclusion
The Nimble T7 should suffice as a robot vacuum and light mop if you can bear with ts battery life.
- Strong suction
- Superior on hardwood
- Smooth movement
- Stops to recharge
- Subtle sound
- Steering by remote
- Smart control
- Shorter battery life
- Dependent on wifi
- Mopping for dust
