ILIFE V5s Pro Robotic Vacuum & Mop Cleaner with Water Tank
Pick up fur, debris, dust, and dirt with the V5s Pro!
It has a slim profile to go under furniture and packs smart sensors to clean those hard-to-reach areas without bumping into obstacles violently nor falling from heights. That is despite the fact it follows a random path during its journey.
Whenever the battery is low, the V5s Pro retreats to the dock to recharge.
To transform the V5s Pro into a robot mop, simply install the water tank and mop cloth. Thanks to iDropping technology, water use is minimized to prevent floor damage, but there is enough water to mop.
One more thing: the V5s Pro can cross 10 mm thresholds at 15 degrees.
Four cleaning modes
- Auto: the default mode for an inclusive cleaning
- Edge: to clean alongside walls and corners
- Spot: to clean a specific area
- Max: to increase suction to its maximum, especially in dusty areas
How good is the V5s Pro?
It is quite good. We just wish it was slightly shorter to go under furniture better. It is indeed slim, but not slim enough for our tastes.
Thankfully, setting up the V5s Pro is quite easy, so you do not have to worry about that. Controlling it with the remote is nice, but we also appreciate being able to use the onsite button to trigger a cleaning as well as toggle between modes.
Now, the most important aspect, which is the vacuuming, is where the V5s Pro shines. It is indeed one of the best robot vacuums out there. It is on par with one of its siblings, the V3s Pro.
If there were to be a caveat, however, it is to not expect the V5s Pro to pick up larger debris like cereal.
More observations:
- The V5s Pro is slow and quiet.
- It avoids big obstacles but not small ones.
- The mop feature is of average quality.
Conclusion
Get the ILIFE V5s Pro for the vacuum feature and maybe for the mop feature. Its suction is quite good!
