Ultenic T10 Elite Robot Vacuum
The Ultenic T10 Elite is a robot vacuum-mop combo that self-empties. What does that mean? Basically, after a cleaning session, the T10 Elite redocks to empty its dirt into a dust bag in its dock. Well, it empties most of it. Furthermore, 99.7% of dust particles are supposed to be captured.
More about its dock
After 45 days of dirt accumulation in the dock, that is when your involvement is needed to empty it. When the T10 Elite’s battery is low, it redocks to recharge and then resume cleaning. It tries to take the most efficient route back home.
Getting set up
Setting up this Ultenic bot should be easy. The two-in-one dustbin & water tank combination is there to keep your floors clean, and you have more than one cleaning mode at your disposal.
Vacuuming & mopping
The four suction power levels mean that each surface can be cleaned in a customized way, whether were are talking about a hard floor or a carpet. The mop, which moves in a Y-shape, can take care of small stains. However, the mop may leave streaks, which is especially more noticeable on darker floors.
If your home is 1,500 square feet, let us say, you can expect your home to be cleaned in less than an hour. Expect to refill the mop twice per cleaning session.
Suction description
Regarding the suction, the T10 Elite can absorb the likes of pet hair, but do not expect your floors to become squeaky clean just by deploying the T10 Elite. A manual follow-up may be needed, well, depending on the condition of your floors pre-deployment.
You see, the T10 Elite may scatter debris that is around it instead of vacuuming it. Furthermore, cracks between tiles may remain unvacuumed. The T10 Elite does have a feature to boost its suction automatically on carpets, though.
LiDAR navigation
If you are a fan of LiDAR, then you are in luck. That is because the T10 Elite can execute 360 degree scanning that is omnidirectional with it. That way, your home is mapped, and an efficient cleaning route can be taken without missing areas. With each run, the map can get more precise.
Maneuvers like Messi
The T10 Elite is thin enough to go under furniture if needed. Also, it should not get stuck on rugs. If it does get stuck under furniture, just place a clear obstacle to block off that area, which is not the only solution but the easiest solution. Take heed that contents may leak during threshold climbing, such as climbing doorsteps.
Smart control
The T10 Elite allows you to control it in different ways. With the app, for example, you can:
- Store maps of up to five floors.
- Schedule a cleaning session.
- Choose which rooms are to be cleaned.
- Set no-go zones.
- See the live progress of the T10 Elite.
Otherwise, you can make use of voice control to control the T10 Elite by words. You can say something like, “Alexa, tell T10 Elite to clean my bedroom.”
Here is what you can find on the remote:
- Navigation keys
- Start/pause
- Mopping mode
- Quiet mode
- Designated area cleaning
- Suction power
- Max
- Recharge
