eufy RoboVac G30
This RoboVac G30 employs Smart Dynamic Navigation 2.0, which is faster than ever before. This involves logical route planning instead of taking random paths that may make a robot vacuum miss a spot. Thanks to the path tracking sensor, the G30 adapts to any new surface it comes across from hard floors to carpets. To be specific, the G30 packs a whopping nine infrared sensors. It transitions through surfaces well.
All you need for your cleaning needs is the EufyHome app on your smartphone. The app is quite easy to use. As soon as a cleaning job is done, you can check out where the RoboVac cleaned and when. You can use voice control as well. Of course, you can use the buttons on the robot vacuum too, which are for:
- Recharging
- Auto cleaning: cleaning in straight lines
- Spot cleaning: for one specific area
There is also a wifi indicator. As for the four suction modes:
- Standard
- Turbo
- Max
- BoostIQ*
*In case the G30 comes across an area that is overly dirty, it will use BoostIQ technology to increase suction power within a mere 1.5 seconds. The G30 is generally quiet and only gets as loud as a microwave, even during BoostIQ mode. The advanced brushless motor reduces noise.
Advanced technology
The G30’s drop-sensing technology avoids it falling off heights. While the technology is fairly sufficient, do clean the sensors often as they may struggle to operate as well when they are dirty, especially around heavily carpeted areas or on dark floors.
The G30 has large wheels that roll over ledges and carpets to reduce the odds of getting stuck. To reduce those odds even further, remove any cables out of the way. If the G30 ends up getting tangled, liberating it is fairly simple.
The low 2.85″ profile allows the G30 to navigate under furniture with ease. This is one of the smallest robot vacuums out there. It can go under most but not all couches. In any case, the G30’s voice will let you know of any problems that may arise.
Minimum hassle
Whenever the battery level is low, the G30 returns to the charging dock on its own and then resumes cleaning whenever ready to hit the floors again.
Admittedly, the battery life seems shorter than advertised. It is more like 90 minutes, which is on the shorter side compared to other state-of-the-art robot vacuums.
Conclusion
The RoboVac G30 is a well-rounded robot vacuum with one slight flaw that is a shorter battery life. Nonetheless, it packs the high quality you would expect from eufy products.
- Logical cleaning routes
- Surface transitioning

- Very quiet
- Goes under low furniture
