OKP K7 Robot Vacuum Cleaner
The K7 is the type of robot vacuum that moves in a zigzag pattern. It employs one of three suction levels, but in general, it is quite the quiet robot vacuum.
If there are thresholds, it can cross some of them at 15-degree angles. Otherwise, if the battery is low, it goes back to the charging base to recharge itself.
Now, if you would like to change between the different modes, you can use the app with 2.4 GHz wifi. Without further ado, here are three of the modes at your disposal:
- Auto: this is the default mode.
- Spot: this is to clean a specific area.
- Wall follow: this is to make sure that the tough spots near walls are cleaned.
With the app, you can also tweak the power levels.
Is the K7 any good?
This robot vacuum has decent suction supplemented by a long battery life. It seems best when you let it move around your home in a bow shape. That said, we do not recommend auto mode. Spot mode can give you results, though. Wall cleaning is good too.
Be patient with the K7 as it familiarizes itself with your home. You may notice that the app is clunky, so you are going to have to operate the K7 another way, which is the remote.
A struggle the K7 may have is relocating its base when it needs to charge. Make it as easy as possible for it to find its base again, and this should reduce finding time. On the bright side, it transitions between surfaces well.
Conclusion
Once you overlook its flaws, the K7 may be exactly what you need to keep your home clean with ease.
- Decent suction
- Crosses thresholds well
- Can get lost
- Modes hit or miss
- Clunky app
