360 Robot Vacuum Cleaner C50

Although only 3.11″ high, the 360 smart cleaner by Smart Life packs a whopping 2,600 Pa of suction power. It utilizes a zigzag pattern of cleaning while using 18 types of sensors to optimize the route. The C50 tackles walls last. It is impressively good on both hard floors and carpets (medium-pile carpets included). One slightly disappointing aspect, though, is that the C50 occasionally scatters debris instead of picking it up.

Note: if you have a lot of female hair at home, consider cleaning the roller brush weekly.

Hybrid functionality

This is also a robot vacuum-mop hybrid. It packs an intelligent water tank so your floor is moistened and cleaned properly. One caveat, however, is that the C50 does not work properly on dark surfaces because of its anti-falling sensors for heights, but this is quite normal for most robot vacuums without LiDAR tech.

On the bright side, this robot vacuum-mop is ultra thin and small, making it maneuver under furniture with finesse. Needless to say, this is an auto-recharging robot vacuum-mop.

More on movement

Back to the movement, the C50 moves surprisingly well despite not having LiDAR. It moves quite fast, but it slows down when it needs to, such as when there is an obstacle, which it may hit, but it does so gently, especially due to its nifty bumper.

First impression

The C50 works best with carpets. As for mopping, it is efficient, and floors dry quickly. Just note that the C50 does not do both functions simultaneously: it vacuums and then mops.

As for noise, it gets noisy when suction is maxed out and quiet during quiet mode.

More on modes coming up…

More interesting features

  • Four-stage suction power*
  • Three-stage water flow**
  • No random mode

*The four stages are standard, quiet, powerful, and max. There is actually a deep-clean button on the C50.

**When the dustbin is replaced with the water tank, the C50 turns automatically into a mop that can do low, middle, or high water-level cleaning.

The different modes

Most of the modes you can understand by their names, such as edge cleaning involving cleaning edges, but spot cleaning, if you are unfamiliar with robot vacuums, cleans a specific area. In the C50’s case, it cleans an area of about 40 square inches.

Controlling the C50

With the remote control, you can choose the cleaning mode as well as change the suction level. You can even change the voice package. Furthermore, there is app control through the 360Robot app. The app is very useful and packs over a dozen features, with our favorite one being the indicator that the sensors need to be cleaned.

One downside of the app, however, is that you cannot see the C50 move on the map in real time. On the other hand, the remote is quite useful too, but of course, you can only fit so many buttons on a remote, so the app is more useful for the tech savvy.

Conclusion

The 360 Robot Vacuum Cleaner C50 is perhaps the best robot vacuum-mop hybrid that is smaller.

  • Hard-floor efficiency
  • Carpet efficiency
  • Smart movement
  • Small profile
  • Useful app
  • Useful remote
  • Sometimes scatters debris
  • No real-time tracking
